Hi everyone! I miss all of you when days pass before I get the opportunity to write again. I am going off my challenge to share my evening with you.
I know all of you have heard at least one time the saying, “It’s the little things that makes the difference.”
Tonight, I attended my monthly Networking group meeting. We had two distinguish guests, Kimi Avery and Tim Gillette. Kimi is a Relationship Coach and Tim is a well-known blogger. I met them both at a conference in Palm Springs back in June.
Katrina Sawa started the networking group and one of the things I like about her, is her ability to mingle with everyone and make them feel special. She did that for me the minute I worked into the room. The bonus was to have both Tim and Kimi recognize and wave to me with big smiles on their faces. I mention that because their smiles were real, not faked.
It was a simple thing and some might say a small thing, but for me, it was special. Think about that when you go to an event and see someone you have met before, but may not be in your social circle. Speaking to this individual might be the thing that makes the biggest difference in their lives.
I spent a few minutes with each of them and took pictures with them. It made the event extra special for me. In fact, I was so energized, I went around the room introducing myself to several people who were first time visitors to our network marketing group. I don’t remember doing that before. I will from now on. I love seeing smiles people faces and letting them realize they are important.
I was reminded this evening, how much we each want to know we are special and worth getting to know. Within ourselves, I believe we know this, but it gets lost when we are taking care of everyone’s need and stop thinking about our own.
I am glad I was reminded of this and able to share these feelings and thoughts with you. I will be a better person from now on because of this. At least in this area of my life. I still have many others to work on and I will share them with you as I work on those self-improvements.
Oh! By the way, it’s because of Tim that I write this blog. Thanks, Tim! I have shared more blogging about myself than I have permitted myself to do before. If any of you are interested in blogging, but are not sure what to do or how to get started, I recommend you go to nottompetty.com or timgillette.com for information.
If you are having relationship problem or want to head off any potential problems, then you need to go to consciouscouplesnetwork.com and Kimi will be glad to help you.
Now, if you have a business and feel like you are stalled, your business is not growing the way you believe it should, then you need to attend Katrina’s workshop November 4 thru November 6th at the Holiday Inn Express in Rancho Cordova on Point East. Katrina will show you how to JumpStart Your Business.
Since I have promoted everyone else, I might as well promote myself. I will be on the MC Speaker Show on November 7th at 6 p.m. PST. The show is hosted by Marcia Chambers and once I receive the link, I will post it on this blog, facebook, and my event page.
Remember, it is the little things you do in live that can make a big difference in someone’s life and yours.
Well, I guess I better call it a night for now. I am getting sleepy and at my age, I need all the beauty rest I can get.
So, until next time, take care. lw
